LMAO at Kobe being the best player in the NBA you guys crack me up....If i recall the lakers were doing Great in the beginning of the season when Kobe was out.....They do pretty good when Kobe is out they seem to play like a "Team". but what about Steve Nash 2 time MVP who just owns the game on any given night whether it be points, assists or more important a WIN.

And

What about Josh Smith who to me is the most versatile player in the NBA he can shoot the ball, he can drive and jam on anyone he gets you 4 or 5 assists a night almost 9 boards leads the league in blocks averages a steal and a half a night...Can i rest my case? My god if that kid was on a team with a some talent i smell a championship

everyone is gonna say Kobe b/c of his scoring but i think there are too many good players out there that specialize in other things like some in scoring some in defense, but the better question i think is which one of these great players can lead their team to Championship ring? dont get me wrong Kobe is a great player but so is Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson and so on

Although I'm not a Kobe fan, I'd have to say he's the best player. There's no stopping this man on the offensive side of the court and he's not too shabby when it comes to defense.

Kobe Bryant. He might not be the most valuable. He might not have as many rings as Jordan, or may not be as successful, but he is the best. 50+ in 4 consecutive games! This espn analyst even says that Kobe is better than Jordan.

It's not something you can answer off the top of your head. Just because he's your favorite player doesn't make him the best. Each player has his own skills that makes him different from all others.

Now, if you asked about my FAVORITE player, I'd have to say Tim Duncan.

Kobe is the best but if he keeps this selfish play up in the playoffs they are going nowhere.

Best as in can just take over a game at will?

I don't like, like a lot of people do, but you have to admit he is the best.

Kobe.
