How to find cell operator from first five digits of cell numbers?

you can identify the service provider from the first three digits but not with 5. first three digits are unique to the service provider.

You can't.

Me and my GF are with the same company and I'm 510-501-XXXX and she's 510-780-XXXX. Another friend on the same service is 510-517-XXXX and another 510-409-XXXX.

All with Cingular in the east side of the SF bay area.
