Definitely agree, you would like Terry Brooks' Shannara series, Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.
Also try Melanie Rawn's Dragon Prince, Dragon Star and Exiles series. Also, the Death Gate Cycle by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.

How about Anne Mc Caffrey's Pern series? Or Artemis Fowl? Or James Patterson's Maximim Ride YA books - starting with The Angel Experiment, then School's Out Forever. The new one Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports comes out in May. They are great books. Pax - C.

I love the same books you do. I also like the Pendragon series by D.J. McHale, the Charlie Bone series by Jenny Nimmo, umm I like Tamora Pierce's books. Artemis Fowl is pretty good and if you like vampire books with a modern twist then the Darren Shan series is really good.
