He's definately a top back, and probably gonna break some records before he's done. But he's never gonna be as flashy as LT - he isn't on the same level as far as speed and agility is concerned. He is more of a balanced rusher, and balanced/power guys just cant surpass the amazing playmaking ability that people like LT have. It's a lot easier to dodge 11 defenders than it is to bowl right through them, and Steven Jackson doesn't have the ability to do either.

What moron said that Bulger didn't have anybody else to throw to? The Holt/Bruce/Curtis threesome was the second-most feared, besides the Colt's. Steven Jackson earned every single one of those receptions.

Alot of people have been saying that. I think he will be good and probably even better than 2006, but the thing about Steven Jackson is that he plays most of his games indoors and on turf. Its a big issue because he might not do as well on outdoors fields and grass. If I were to choose one of the Big 5 Running Backs (LT, LJ, Jackson, Gore, Alexander), it would probably be either LaDainian Tomlinson again, but probably Larry Johnson or Frank Gore to have a huge, record breaking season. Then again, I dont think any of them are quite as good as LT, except maybe Larry Johnson. If I were to pick whos going to have the MVP season, Id go with LJ.

First off, Jackson has already broken out.

Secondly, there's nobody better than Tomlinson still on this earth. R.I.P., Sweetness.

Finally, Jackson has as good a chance as anyone to be the #2 back in the league. Alexander's coming back from an injury-marred season, LJ's coming off the curse of the 400+ carry workload, Gore still doesn't have an offense around him (but I hope that changes by '08), Rudi Johnson is too much of a bruiser (and could get hurt as early as the upcoming season due to his rushing style), Parker's too much of a finesse runner, and Barber's retired. If there's anyone I'm forgetting, it's probably because Jackson's already better (and will remain better in the '07 season) than the forgotten.

Jackson is a stud. You might be right. I just think his facemask is way too close to his face, Maybe 1 inch. His hair takes up too much room in his helmet. He might get hurt with a broken face or something before he is better than LT>

LT could have about an same form of three hundred and sixty 5 days he had very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. it is going to be incredibly difficult to surpass what he executed very last season, yet when all of us can do it then that is LT. i search for Stephen Jackson to truly damage out this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. at the same time as i do not imagine he will submit LT type numbers, I do imagine he will easily surpass his totals from very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days see you later as he continues to be healthful.

Have you been nipping at the cooking sherry? Tomlinson is the best back since Barry Sanders. Oh, by the way, there's only one true LT. He played outside linebacker for the Giants in the 80's and early 90's.

What are you talking about? Steven Jackson had a break out year this year, didn't you watch this year. He was in the pro bowl. He led my fantasy football team to the championship game, unfortunately the rest of my team didn't show up. Romo and the cowboys defense, still pissed I lost by one point.

Break out? He had 1500 yards rushing and 90 receptions last year. He has already broken out. But he is not at LT's level. Maybe in a few years. It is a BIG maybe.

I don't think he will be better than LT, but he just had a great season and I expect he'll have another great one. He is an elite NFL runningback.
