I am 26 weeks pregnant and had noticed a bump when I've showered about the size of a marble in my vaginal area. I thought perhaps it was normal swelling, until I started to feel it while walking today. I grabbed a flashlight and mirror today and sure enough... there's a round swollen gland-like lump in there. Any one experienced this?

From the way you are describing this, it may be a Bartholin's cyst. If it is, the treatment would depend on the size, how painful and whether or not it is infected. Your best course of action would be to see your gynecologist or obstetrician. He/she will be able to determine the best treatment. Being honest, the sooner you seek treatment, the better for you!

It very well might drain on its own...especially if you soak frequently in a tub of warm water. However, it might become painful enough that you will just want it taken care of and not to wait for the warm soaking to work. Also, if infected, you would require antibiotics. Since you are pregnant, I would not wait for it to drain on its own...I would see the gynecologist or your obstetrician asap.
