I think any of the evil corporate soaps you can buy in the store are not very good for you or your skin. Ivory is probably the closest to "all natural" soap, however, like all of the other evil corporate soaps, they take all of the natural glycerine out of the soap. Glycerine is what makes "real" soap so yummy & skin loving. Here is a list of the ingredients that go into a bar of Ivory soap:
For 'Ivory' (which has the shortest list) these are: Sodium tallowate, sodium cocoate or sodium palm kernelate, water, sodium chloride, sodium silicate, magnesium sulfate, and fragrance. (This information is from the Material Safety Data Sheet prepared by the Proctor & Gamble Company.)
Sodium tallowate (Tallowate is soap made from, sodium cocoate, and sodium palm kernelate are all natural soap compounds produced from tallow (beef fat), coconut oil, and palm kernel oil, respectively. Magnesium sulfate is also known as Epsom salts and sodium chloride you may recognize as common table salt. Sodium silicate is also known as soluble glass or sodium silicate glass. While the amount in Ivory soap is probably too small to be of concern, sodium silicate is harmful if ingested and in it’s pure form can cause burns through skin or eye contact. Of all the mass produced commercial soaps that this writer has examined, Ivory is closest to an all natural soap with a minimum of additional chemicals. Of more importance to the consumer could be what isn’t in Ivory soap. Notice that glycerin is missing from the list of ingredients. This cheapens the soap and removes one of the natural moisturizers for the skin.
The worst soap on the market in my opinion is Irish Spring. My son had such a violent reaction to some of the stuff they put in there that he has permanent scars on his chest & back.
The most mild soap you can get will generally be made by some girl in her kitchen. 100% olive oil soaps are very mild, however, I prefer a soap made from about 80% Olive oil, 20% coconut oil because the 100% soaps tend to get slimy & they don't have much fluffy lather.
Do a web search for handcrafted soap. You can find lots of people who make & sell soap.
Here's a good one. http://millersoap.com/
There are hunderds out there though :-)

DOVE really is mild. So is IVORY.
If they aren't mild enough, check around to see if anyone makes soap in your area because there's a lady at our local Farmer's Market that sells goat's milk soap that is wonderfully mild!

It depends on what you mean by "mild." If you have eczema or extremely sensitive and dry skin, avoid all bar soaps. Try a sponge with moisturizing body wash. If you normal skin, try Dove.

I have very sensitive skin and I use cetaphil mild cleanser or Aveeno products. Also avoid any soaps or lotions with the ingredient "lanolin," as a lot of people with sensitive skin are allergic to it. Good luck!

Johnson & Johnson baby soap and Lever 2000 just make sure you get the original one and not the one with the perfume in it. Also you might want to try cocoa butter soap or black and white soap. GOOD LUCK!

Dove is wonderful. Also you might try the clear glycerin bars. Most are scented but they are very mild.
