I think it's a big joke. I mean seriously, I am scared that there are adults out there that truly don't know that red and yellow make orange.... I have a suspicious feeling that they may just play it up, just to make people laugh at the stupidity of full-grown adults that can't answer questions that 10/11 year old children all know. Personally the whole show bugs me, including the host who's jokes are, in my opinion, not that funny.
As far as it being "fair?" Personally, I think those kids know the answers beforehand, so I don't think it's really that fair at all. Like I said before, its a big joke to me. Something tells me only 5th graders could find this as an intelligent source of entertainment....

not really. i dont know what they're teaching in 5th grade these days, but when i was in 5th grade (ten years ago) i didnt know what a rhombus was or how many cups are in 10 pints or anything like that! geez... some of those questions are high school material and i mean come on... for most people some stuff they teach in high school went in one ear and out the other. those real 5th grade kids on the show are pretty damn smart though... well... either that or its scripted where the kids are shown the answers to all the questions beforehand.

I think it's a sad, sad day that we've sunk from Jeopardy to this. Watching people sweat and stammer over simple questions like "What's the biggest land animal?" is just scary.

yes, it shows how retarded lots of adults are compared to a 10 year old child. The episode I watched a woman didnt know the sun was the closest star to earth... where has society gone...
