you were at dinner with your wife and she stared at another man during the entire meal....I mean watched him walk to the buffet everytime and watched him walk back while you were eating dinner with your family? Should I have asked...Has something caught your eye in the menu?

Unless she got up and asked for his phone number, don't worry. May be he reminded her of someone she knew but wasn't sure.

Did you ask her why she was staring at this guy? I think she is probably mad at you some how and wants to get back at you. You made her mad therefore she's trying to make you mad. If she was that obvious about staring at this man and still you never even ask her why resulted her being even more mad. You do not have to worry about that man at the buffet, he's just someone she's using to get a reaction out of you. You need to talk to her and resolve whatever is bugging her in the first place...I think she's trying to get you to pay attention to her, at this point she doesn't care if it's positive or negative attention. Any is better than none.

I 'watch people' when my husband and I are eating out ... and there's 'nothing to it' because I 'share my observations' with him. Maybe this 'man' your wife was watching was 'eating way too much' or choosing 'different food' ... so if you are 'stressed out' why don't you just ASK HER why she keeps 'watching' this guy if it happens again. Maybe he 'looks like' someone she used to 'date' or have a crush on ... you'll NEVER KNOW unless you ASK HER though.

geesh- possessive much? So what.. all people in relationships sneak a peek every once in awhile. THey are married.. not dead. I would probably make a joke about it.. and drop it. Unless she was being like super flirty and touching his shoulder and crap while she walked by (which she wasnt) then i think you need to give the women some space!

Wow, relax. You should bring it up to her why she was starring at the man......maybe she was "spacing off" or maybe she thought she knew him but couldnt place the face. Communication is key.
