i watched a documentary the other day call A Headbangers Journey
they interviewed slipknot
they asked if they were a bit satanic
they said no but people can imply what they like
they said there music is for the kid that feels like an outsider or for someone who needs help with a dark time in their life
im not into metal or w/e they are but pretty good documentary on metal and satan u should check it out

No.Metal bands put on that satanic persona for shock value and the look.The only metalhaed I know that is satanic is Marilyn Manson.Though he doesn't sacrifice animals or anything.Satanism really has nothing to do with devil worship,but respecting Satan as a figure in a story.He's a real underdog type in the Bible...very human.

Many bands use the pentagram just for show, and to freak out SuperChristians. In fact, 98% of bands who use "satanic" symbols, lyrics and such, know nothing about satanism (which has absolutely nothing to do with devils, besides the name). And no, Slipknot in particular are not satanists or "satanic". Just because their music is "creepy" or "scary" (which I think it's not), does not make them satanic in any way. People just associate anything that springs a bit of fear in them with satan, devils, and the like.

No and they never claimed to be. I can only think of one song where they say "Satan what do you want from me" The mention of Satan in one song does not make them satanists. Inxs has a song called the Devil Inside that does not make them satanists does it???

yah they're satanic! just look em up and listen to their music! it's soooo scary and creepy. yes, if u ask me and like all my friends. we'll say their satanic. cuz they are. just listen to them for a little bit, and u'll know what i mean!
