Find equations of the tangent lines to the curve below that are parallel to the line x - 2y = 2.

For x - 2y = 2, rewrite in slope-intercept form to find the slope of the line:

x - 2y = 2
2y = x - 2
y = 0.5x - 1

So the slope in question is 0.5. As for the "tangent lines to the curve below" I'm not sure what the curve is exactly. But if it's a curve, you'll probably need to take a derivative to find the tangents. If you can post more on that curve, then that'd help a little bit more in answering this question.
