OK, to tell you the truth, I am a 5th grader, and I love that show. I don't know why half of those people don't know about 2nd grade grammar!!! But still, the stuff we learn is sometimes hard to understand, like when we learned about space and astronomy, I sort of still don't know how the Earth revolves around the sun. It's all so confusing sometimes.
Truly, I think that some people aren't smarter than a 5th grader, because I'm sure that you didn't learn about punnet squares in 5th grade. My sister in 7th grade just learned it this year. Well, she's not in IMPACT (a science class for gifted people, as in smart) and I am. Even though I am a 5th grader, I truly AM smarter than another 5th grader.

I'm a sixth grader- so in a way yes. but- that show is so planned, and those people are acting! It's all fake. Plus I kinda think the kids on the show are trying to grow up too quickly- one was wearing a mini, and high heeled boots, and they're all covered in make-up. Society! UGH! haha. But thanks for the very interesting question, it's good to see other people's input on things!

considering that i passed 5th grade and I'm now in 11th. I'd say yeah I am.
That show is soooo embarrassing though. Grown men/women with some respectable titles just blanking out on easy questions. But you cant really blame them. That's stuff you learn so long ago

Right now I'd say yes since I get most of the questions right at home but I'm not sure how much nerves would set in if I ever went on the show.

I know a lot of the answers to the questions and I teach first grade, I used to teach 4th grade, so I hope I am just as smart at least!
