If a small cult-like religion somehow get enough followers to be legally classified as a religion, and practices human/animal sacrfices and the like, could that religion legally sacrifice a volunteer from their church? I was thinking about this the other day and started thinking about how secular laws and stuff here are and it freaked me out a bit if there was a situation like this.

No, even a big religion can't.

Although religious freedom is protected, it is only protected up to the point where it does not interfere with another person's freedom. Murder is such an interference.

No. There is no religious exemption to generally neutral laws.

Religions may be exempt from certain tax and property laws, but not criminal laws. And while criminal laws cannot be written to target specific religious groups, they aren't exempt either.
