When you start up your HP computer, or most computers, the log in screen shows up with your family's accounts and you click on yours to put in your password to log onto the computer.

Under each it shows how many unread e-mails you have. how do i set it so it doesnt show?

Link below. It requires a registry edit from this set of instructions. I do recall finding a utility before to handle it but didn't find it on a quick Google search. You might want to kick off a system restore point if you aren't comfortable with registry changes. The instructions are pretty clear though but it will be up to you on how to proceed.
