Yes, but you wouldn't want to buy a second router. You would want to buy a Wireless Access Point instead (WAP).

Since the device will already be protected by your existing router, you don't need all the extra bells and whistles of a router. My suggestion in a Netgear WG602 WAP:

You can buy as many WAPs as you like, just make sure you have them all on DIFFERENT channels and the SAME SSID.

Well you can but you'd be better off connecting just a second access point so you all stay on the same network.
Access points can actually be used in multiple locations using seperate channels and SSID's to really extend a network. Just need ONE router.

You can also just add a range extender if all you need is 60 feet. Most AP's and routers cover much further than that!

If you already have both of the routers yes you can, but you might be having problems since routers tend to have the same IP numers. (some change Ip numbers automatically) or you might want to go to the setting and change one (second one or 1st one) or be a gateway
