I pay them a few days before the due date.
I don't pay them right away because I want to earn more interest on my money.
I don't wait until the due date, because if there is a problem (power outage, service failure, etc) I don't want to be charged late fees. So I pay a few days before, then if there is a problem I have a couple of days to resolve it.

Well, I sort of cheat a little. I have all the bills due dates and about 3 or 4 days before they are due, I have an email coming that reminds me to "PAY THE PHONE BILL, DUMMY!" or whichever it is. And surprisingly, this works really pretty good at our house anyway.

Before the due date, I'm paranoid about that. Most of mine are automatic bill pay so I don't have to do anything. But anything I get in the mail I put on my computer desk and pay on that weekend.

I pay my bills soon when I get them. I don't wait the due date. Right now I'm almost done paying my April's bills. I'm always one month ahead.

All of the above. I pay them through the bank machine and sometimes I forget the amount so I don't pay it right then and then it gets forgotten. I'm not so organized.
