My friend works at a factory that wants her to work 7 days a week 8hour shifts sometimes 10 is that illegal it should be.

That is not illegal. As long as they pay 'overtime' for any hours above 40 in a week, they can require overtime.

wont help your friend if she is illegal. thats how the factory owners get away with it.
aslo, as long as she is paid overtime (after 8 hours, double time after 120, but depends on the state, depends on the contract, depends on a lot of things.) i believe she can work as many hours as required
