In 1999 Time asked its readers who they thought should be the person of the century. Who do u think it was? They can be influential for a good reason or bad. I personally Thought it was Sir Alexander Fleming who invinted pennicilian.

there were so many great and interesting people in the 20th century and so many who accomplished great things. But....

the most "Influential" of the 20th century would have to be Ghandi.

He changed the entire nation of India and England and Pakistan. He took India out from under the British domination and control as a colony and won its independence. He fought for and won freedom for Indians who were third class citizens in their own country. He stopped the violence (for a time) between the hindu and muslim and sort of created India and pakistan.

yes one man to influence so many and so much change. definitely Ghandi... whether you agree with his beliefs or not no one has ever been more influential in his lifetime during the 20th century.

I think Albert Einstein did more to influence the path of history than any other single human being. Even though many of his ideas were superceded by other theories and hypotheses later in the century, those developments might not have ever come about without his breakthroughs.

I could have got to say that the places of journey, enterprise and conversation have had essentially the most influence. Ford Wright Curtis Gates In politics it is going from side to side plenty and will depend on which nation you are living in. I could have got to say that subsequently Bill Gates has had the largest influence at the global.
