i'm writing a small paragraph on why the epilogue of Shakespeare's "the Tempest" is important. any ideas?

An Epilogue is important because it tells the reader or audience what hap pend or happens after the main plot or story. Many books and plays need that portion so that while the play is finished the fate of the characters are often not.

It gives you a main Idea of the story and gives you some background info that you may need to understand the plot and setting of the story, like what societies views are at the time or where the story takes place.
