Can you elaborate on what you mean by "going out?" Are you saying that you lose the connection ever so often? If you are using wifi, the distance between your computer and router is too great and you are losing the signal. Another possibility is that there are obstacles blocking the signal (e.g. walls, floors, windows...etc.). You can try closing the distance between your router and computer. You can also remove any obstacles which might block the signal. You can strength the signal by installing a better antenna.

try resetting it up useing the internet wizard. if useing cable or DSL, then you'll choose the LAN , this is the type of connection for them. also try to reinstall the ethernet card drivers or dialup drivers. if useing dial-up, use the cd that can with you isp setup. also if useing a router, disconnect the router and hook directly to the modem. if you get no results from this, then contact your isp support.

Do you have dsl. Turn off comp, unplug all wires connected to the modem for 5 minutes, plug wires back, and turn on comp again. See if that works.
