1) wear concealer only where needed
2) apply a face powder to reduce shine
3) select a lip color that mirrors your own and enhances it
4) brown or black eyeliner tight against the lash line
5) black mascara after curling your lashes

Stick w/ neutral, natural colors for blush & eyeshadow for a classic look. Avoid colors w/ strong yellow undertones (coral, rust, tangerine lip gloss, etc.) - they will accentuate your yellow undertones and can look muddy.

Have a makeovers at Clinique, BeneFit & MAC so you can compare and see what you like.

Here's how to determine your skin tone so you can pick flattering colors with more confidence:

Warm skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear green.
2. Gold jewelry is more flattering than silver jewelry.

Cool skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear blue.
2. Silver jewelry is more flattering.

Look at your wardrobe and hold up a few items in different colors against your face. Which ones appear more flattering to you in a mirror with natural sunlight? Which colors are you drawn to?

If you are not sure, ask one or two trusted friends or family members who's style you admire.

As for color palettes:

1. Earth colors are considered to be more neutral and natural
e.g. taupe or brown eyeshadow, soft blush (Nars Orgasm), lip colors that are like your own but with a little oomph (Revlon Lip Super Lustrous Gloss - Cherries in the Glow)

2. Jewel colors are considered to be more dramatic
e.g. blue or purple or green or shimmery eye shadows, black eyeliner, bold blush, deep burgundy or bright pink lip colors

You can choose from either palette as long as the tones are flattering.

Someone once told me to always add 25% more make-up than you think you need, because in most cases, by the time you get to wherever you need to be, Mother Nature will have taken her toll and it will have been swept off by wind, rain and other elements.

Keep it simple, keep it matte and keep it classic. Now isn't the time to experiment with electric blue mascara or the "nude" look.

Apply a hydrating oil free moisturisor and focus under your eyes, around your nose and any red/blotchy places or acne with a perfectly matched and blended concealer.

Apply with a brush, a light coverage of oil free/suncream free foundation, blending scrupulously. Roll on some loose powder (don't drag).

Cream blushes are great for a natural flush, add a little to the apples of your cheeks.

Finally, curl your eyelashes and layer on the mascara. Apply a tinted lip balm or a clear balm (gloss can appear messy on camera and reflect too much light) and voila! Picture perfect.

Carry blotting papers, lip balm and the loose powder with you and apply it at the last minute before your photo! Snap happy!

Hey sweetie you want to cleanse your face to wipe off all the dirt and buildup of your face. Next you want to tone so all your pores are closed and shield from the makeup you're about to put on. Next you must always apply moisturizer to keep your foundation on. Then apply a light foundation. Make sure if you have oily skin that the foundation is oil absorbent so you don't get any breakouts. Then apply a concealer on your eyelids and on the bottom of your eyes to cover up any dark circles if any. and apply foundation over where you've applied the concealer. Apply a light shade of eye shadow on your eye lids from the bottom by your lash line to the top of bellow your eye brows. then on the crease of your eye apply an eye shadow any color that you would like that would go best on your outfit if you want natural go bronze or brown. Dust your applicator first before you apply a darker shade and if you do apply a dark eye shadow make sure to put on foundation and concealer on your eyes only first only because if you do get eye shadow on your cheeks or under your eyes its hard to take it off and you have to start all over. Then go and put on eye liner carefully. If you have tired eyes use white eye liner to go on the bottom of your eye lids this make your eyes pop and not make you look tired. Next go and apply you mascara make sure its not water proof waterproof mascara will only bleed and make you look like you have raccoon eyes by the end of your day. Put on blush and when applying blush smile to see where your cheekbones are and you just want to highlight that area and don't put too much you don't want to look like a lobster. Good luck and have fun also try go on this website http://cgarcia1.qbeautyzone.com they have awesome products and you get your money back guarantee just return the items six months that you bought it from.
