Because the plurar is mooses so therefore it can't be meece...It also sounds too much like mice, and mice are nothing compared to mooses! =P

because Canadians are smart enough to know that if there's one moose there's going to be more so instead of making up new words we just use one! We could be like americans and say look at the mooses though if that'd make you happy?
Actually come to think of it. I like the word MOOSE. I think I'll stay Canadian!

I don't know. The plural of goose is geese. So it only makes sense to me. But I'm not in charge of plurals, so the whole thing can't be helped. At least not by me.
