Only call when they want something or have some type of drama going on in their lives? You don't hear from these people in what seems to be a bazillion years. Then out of the blue they call and it's not to say "hello" or "how are ya?" Why is that? I Feel like dropping them off in my wake. Fat heads. :(

I have a friend JUST and EXACTLY like that!!! Ohh...... she gets on my nerves like you wouldn't believe! She emails, NEVER CALLS, once in a blue moon just to complain that I never email HER! And I'm just like "why should I ever email you if you never care about me or what I'm talking about?" Yeah, they are fat heads. =(

That's life.... we are in the biggest stage, playing our own role.

We really never know what it's in their mind, but some people are naturally warm..

Since we have a life of our own, a family of our own, place and time of our own, making our own upkeep away from them, the chance of bumping to each other, or crossing each others path, is indeed a rare time to express our regards for them. the sudden rush of memory that once upon a time, we know this person, saying 'hello', 'how are you', are the most natural thing a civilized person could do.

If you are not comfortable with that, just return their greetings with a friendly gesture and slip away quietly into the crowd.
