There was probably no first as such.
Until humans developed the ability to speak they were like any other animals.
They probably had greater survival instincts,than other animals which probable led to speech and the ability to be objective.
This separated them from all other animals in the extent of their longevity.
Other animals could not become technological.
When we did we went from the possibility of living for millions of years to tens of thousands of years
We are close to the end of that time to-day.
