I ride a black Kawasaki Ninja and there are some scratches along the gas tank/seat area (most likely from my pants rubbing against it). Don't seem very deep. What is the best application to rid the scratches and make it nice and shiny! Will wax prevent the scratches from occuring again? Stupid pants!

Best way to get rid of the scratches is to take it to a GOOD body shop and have them lightly buff it out. Make sure they use a good clean buffer. then cover the area where your pants rub with a protector cover.

There are these stick-on type tank protectors.

And there are these bra-type tank protectors.

The bra-type cover more area, but I think they don't look as good as the stick-on ones.

The tank protectors stick to the tank just where
your crotch hits it. LOL
