Are you on the pill? Don't take the placebo week and just go on to the new pack - you will effectively skip your period this way. But check with your doctor to make sure this is OK first - it usually is, but it's a good idea to check first.

It would have been good if you asked this question earlier. If you went on the pill for at least 2-3 months then kept taking the full pill, not the pacebo (the 7 other pills taken during your periods) until you want your period you can adjust the timing of your periods.

Without hormonal manipulation (medication), you can't make it start sooner. I just recommend bringing plenty of Midol and tampons with you to try to make it as convenient as possible. I always hate that when it "ruins" a vacation -- but if you keep yourself medicated right when the cramps start to come on, you should avoid the worst of it!

Nope! You can only adjust your cycle ahead of time if you are on the Pill. Once you ovulate (release your egg) your body will shed it's uterus in 11-16 days (somewhere around there) unless you are pregnant. It's probably too late to try that too :P.

my wife controls when she gets her period , but she takes birth control. with birth control pills you can skip a cycle if you want but then your perion will be heavy when it comes. ask your doctor if you should try birth control now and if it will work this early usualy it takes one month but I hear of this new stuff that limits you cycle to only three days ask the doctor over the phone

I'm sorry, at this point I don't think there's anything you can do. Ask your doctor, perhaps he'll be able to tell you differently.
