I got a violation notice because I called Sandstorm a wet noodle and said that he needed to go home to his mommy cause he was still tied to her apron strings....honest. What a bunch of sad Yahoo'ers here.....I never swore or anything...I was just saying to him what I always say when I disagree with him.

To have an orangie you have to have 10% or more best answers....I have over 18,000 points but a new person with 1700 points and 10% best answers gets top contributors badge....

Well, then they should have BEST ANSWERS BADGES cause 1700 points is NOT contribution...!
How bout Welsh??? 11% best answers no badge....the system needs corrected and I am allowed my opinion...if sandstorm is allowed to belittle women in his questions then I should be allowed my opinion of him...He knows I don't even mean it ...it was some little groupie that took our fun away...I have been doing it all along ...if he didn't like it he could email me...it is not HIM...wait and see what I say tomorrow....noone here follows the rules to the letter. I love sandstorm...but, other people are idiots....I was just playing and he knew it...but, they are allowed to talk about sex and it stays on here....the system is far from perfect...I guess talking about it in this forum isn't working...I will talk directly to yahoo tomorrow....nite

I have around 33. If people don't like just one word in your posting, they'll track your other stuff down, find anything that's just slightly over the line and get you a violation notice. It doesn't even have to be mildly offensive, they'll find a way. When I first came on this site, didn't know how rigid the rules were and my niece asked me to post a question asking if there were any other young teens for her to ms. 2 months later, I got a violation notice for "chatting." Some creep had trawled all my answers until they got me on one. You must have been reported, I don't think yahoo would have clamped down on the comments you made, without someone whining

This violation stuff is getting out of hand, really. And I have seen you make this "orange badge=10% best answers" statement several times and I must tell you....I have 11% best answers and they took mine away! Not that I care but the 10% best answers thing just is not so!

You got a violation for just saying THAT?! Oh man, I sense I may be in trouble soon, heehee. That is ridiculous though. People need to learn how to take a joke. Well I should probably be going now to edit my last 500 answers or so.

I've had a few violations that I'm still shaking my head over. I reply that I want to know what caused the violation, and I still have received NO reply from them.

Well you insulted him. And insulting other users is a violation of community guidelines. Sorry to say it but it is true. You have to watch what you say.
Also the top contributor boxes are appropriate. People with a good best answer clearly CONTRIBUTE more GOOD answers is what I think yahoo is trying to say. They are more of a contributer to best answers. I think you should need like 25% best answer for one though... if that is the way the are going to play.

Knock on wood I've never been violate. Have never reported anyone either. To me it's like TV if you don't like what you see change the channel or turn it off.
