People loves to compare players who play different postions. This is kind of difficult. Look man, Duncan has all the fundamental (hence his Nickname) in basketball. He can shoot, rebound, block shot and defense. And with his size he is solid in the middle for both PF and C spot.
Manu is fast and exciting to watch. He can shoot 3s, drive to the hoop and play defense. He is also a good passer as well. But he is not really a PG. He is definitely good as a shooting or off guard.
In a one-on-one match, Duncan will really power Manu. Manu may score some 3s but eventually will miss. Duncan will make most of the close range shots as well as getting all the rebounds. Overall, you have to give it to Duncan.

Tim Duncan is definitely the better NBA player right now. He is a terrific teammate, making all the guys around him better. Because of his abilities in the post, he draws attention away from player like Parker and Ginobili, opening them up for easy drives and jumpers. He is consistent night in and night out, and is a quiet superstar. He is a force both on the offensive end and the defensive end. Ginobili is a very good player, but having guys like Tim Duncan and Tony Parker on your team to help carry the load when you're having an off night really helps.

Tim Duncan like crazy. He gets 20 points and 10 boards every year, year in and year out. Manu Ginobili gets to much injuries and he is inconsistent. Unlike Duncan who is consistent.

Tim Duncan is an amazing rebounder, blocker and inside scorer but if you need some outside shooting then Manu Ginobili is the man you want

manu ginobli hands down. i mean so what if tim duncan averages a double double? First of all i like versatility meaning Tim Duncan can only post up. he cant do anything. Dirk Nowitzki is a player who can post up and drive to the hoop as well as shoot a 3-pointer. Maun ginboli can shoot and drive. The only bad thing about him is he cant post up. he averages decent points and a good amount of steal per game.

Easy answer. Duncan is clearly the better overall player. Plus Ginobili flops more often than a European soccer player.

tim duncan. just think of this way if you took tim duncan off that team they wouldnt be a playoff team. manu is good but duncan is one of best forwards to play the game

wow are you serious first of all you cant compare there two different positions
second i bet if freakin duncan played guard he'd still be better
ginobili is so inconsistant id rather have duncan in 5 years than ginobili now
