"Thou shalt not kill"
why does He allow wars to go on and on and on?
...and please don't tell me to read the Book of Revelations because I already have and it's nothing more than something written by the writers of the first five books of the bible in order to scare people. And don't tell me that this is the wrong category because YOUR president has already made it perfectly clear that he thinks he's God..and since he does I now know why I do not believe in the bible and I certainly do not believe this man who told us early on that :

"God told [me] that it was all right to attack Iraq"..

God created us and the earth which left us with this beautiful world along with some golden rules.
However, MAN is the one who has led us to war throughout time not God.
If God controlled every singe person and country directly why would he put forward the Commandments- IT IS UP TO US.

Yes, God did lead many armies against evil. However, that's the difference. Bush is not God, and the Middle East is not evil. The Iraq War is not the equivilent of God leading the Seraphins against the fallen angels lead by Lucifer.

While I do think that the question is worded quite biased, then again so are all the answers.

But God allows wars to go on because he gave us the greatest gift of all...free will. He lets us make our own judgement calls and determine who is worthy of his presence and who isn't in the end. I would not worry, you keep your morals in check and you should be fine, the ones who can only think of killing will be the ones done in at the end.

So yes, unless God specifically came to Bush and told him to start this war (I'm not saying it did or didn't happen) then this war is absolutly wrong in the eyes of the Almighty.

The correct translation of the fifth commandment is "Thou shalt not murder". Kill is the wrong verb. Obviously, God thought justifiable killing was OK.

It is also wrong to lie, so please don't lie about the president. He does not think he is God.

There is evil in the world. Liberals cannot admit this. They do not believe in moral absolutes. That is the legacy of the socialist influence on the democrat party.

Evil must be confronted. The innocent must be protected. The evil terrorists must be opposed. "All that is necessary for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing."

We really do not expect liberals to handle any of this. We understand how you are hamstrung by your moral relativism. We just ask that you stand aside and let us do our job. We will defend America and American interests.

Simply put Christians who believe an attempt to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ and the bible; also believe in "Free Will". God doesn't want men killing each other over jealousy, material, or to control another. Man has free will and will be judge by God, according to his behavior.

Remember back when you said or did something insulting to another person. God was there, yet didn't intervene because of free will.

If you have a problem understanding the Holy Bible, you should talk to a minister. They're all over the place - in every church in the country. They are the experts. When you don't understand something, you go to an expert.

You obviously hate the bible, hate christians, hate the president...You are really quite hateful. Go sit out in the garden, drink some wine, have a smoke and contemplate on the beauty that surrounds you...Let go of the hate, Brother...just let it go..

Did you quit reading after that? God led many armies through many wars to combat evil.

I'm not going to tell you any of those things. God did not make us blind robots. He gave us free will. What we as a world choose to do with His many gifts is totally up to us. Of course, He can choose to decide what the consequences to our actions might be.

Go to the Hebrew, it's "Thou shalt not murder". Big difference. Somebody needs a nap.

God(s) is a creation of man to explain the unexplainable. Now that less and less is unexplainable due to science, we have less need for god(s). Clinging to the highly improbable is irrational.
