Firstly, (and I promise i am not trying to be funny), you should get off the internet. Secondly, if you have the music, practice as much as you can. If you know someone who is also trying out maybe you can get with them to practice the routine with you. It just takes practice and perserverance. Try not to stress about it..you will be okay. Good luck :)

Practice practice practice! And then if you still aren't too sure on the dance it's ok. That's why it's tryouts. Tryouts aren't about being perfect, it's more about just trying your hardest.

Even if you don't know the dance too well, look like you know what you're doing! If you mess up just go with it. Also, smile the entire time and put a little bit of attitude into it. You only have one chance to show them what you've got.

It might be a bit scary, but I bet the people who are watching you tryout have tried out themselves for many things before so they will be nice.

Good luck!!!

Practice, Practice, can you call someone that might know it. Try to remember it. I have never tried out before so i cant tell you from experience but i do know from dance. try to think it over in your head, that might help. Don't stay up late on this, practice until you think you got it, but not to late make sure that you get good sleep. I have a list that a got from someone who has been through many tryouts and is very good.
Heres a list of things that you might be able to pack for tomorrow. and some things that you might want to think about.
wear dark shorts and a slender fitting t-shirt so that they can see your body) i don't know if this will help or not.
dont wear outrageous make up- like blue eye shadow
wear a ribbon or bow tie in your hear nothing big
no gum or jewerly
List:
make-up
hair-spray/gel
water bottle/ or sports drink
a small light snack like veggies or granola bar
tylenol or something that you can take incase you get a sudden head ache...ect....
a pad of paper and pen, for coahes notes
saffety pins
feminine stuff
tissues
deodorant
* one thing that is important is that the coaches will expect to see what you apptemt to do in try outs. so if your not comfotable or willing to do it during the season that don't try it in try-outs
SMILE BIG!!!! Look like your having fun and do you best!
If you really don't feel comfortable then you might consider not trying out. But that is a major decision so don't decide that right away or just becuase of this answer.
good luck!!!

You will do first-class!!! If you'll be able to do all that, and the opposite participants can slightly do backhandsprings, then you're going to with ease make it!! I were a cheerleader for 5 years, and I am going to be a junior at my high school, in case you simply attempt to consciousness in your respiring, you then frequently wont be so frightened! If i had been you, to provoke the judges i could put on a huge bow!!!!! That fairly suggests that you just dont care whhat you have got to do to be a cheerleader, and that you're very outgoing!!! Be tremendously lively!!! Good success(:

ummm well.... ur kinda screwed. my tryouts are coming up soon and the best thing to do during practices when learn a dance, is to pay attention! what were you doing? goofing off????? my best advice is to not go so you dont get embarrassed. it also depeneds on how bad you want to become a cheerleader. if its that bad, then call up a friend on the team and meet up with her and have her teach you the dance.... GOOD LUCK
