if you live in a "no fault" state

the judge doesn't care who or what you did

but he may ask for a DNA test to dispute paternity to not pay child support

None of this comes out in a divorce, hon, unless you and he want it as part of the settlement. Legally, that child is his, and therefore ought to support that child, at least in part. If he and you wanted to be real jerks over it, go after him for child support.... Then he has ever right for a DNA test. So, you and he need to shut the hell up, and come to a private settlement, even if it means he in no way supports that child, and the real father never knows...... . So, advise from here: forget the child support unless he offers it....and have no more children by men to whom you are not married.... not really fair to the child.... they tend to have identity crises later in life.... you ain't seen nuttin' yet..................he's only 3.

I'm so sorry to tell him, but in most stqtes, since he have signed the birth certificate knowing that the kid wasn't his, he is still obligated to the kid. He is the only father this baby knows and the courts won't let him off the hook that easy. I would let him do whatever makes him feel good and go get an atty. and ask him a load of questions.

Too late to worry.
The dirt is out and has been out.
Invest your concerns in your son. If you do not get child support, will your son stop being your son.

Yes he can. You both needed to have discussed this previously. You need a new birth certificate with the correct father and he needs to be the one paying child support.
Your SOL!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK!

The only thing that can be done about keeping dirt out is to iron it with a strong spray on the ironing board. To try to do this without an ironing board is going to be tough.

In a no-fault state, it won't make a hill of beans. But, realistically there's nothing you can do to keep him from saying whatever he wants about you, as long as it's true. If it's false, then you've got a case of slander.

Sorry to say that he can. If the child in question is not his he has no legal right to pay child support.

Sorry but he has every right to bring it up in court..

Should have thought of all this dirty laundry as you were making it. I feel very sorry for the child.
