please help; went to get car inspected [charlotte,nc] but i was told to drive 30 min,stop,cut car off, drive 30 more min and stop then come back, the paper states; [your vehicle has too many unset [not ready] readiness codes, and that [your car diagnostic monitors are not ready for testing at this time. this has never happen, any info welcomed, as to what is going on here and what to do? thanks

thanks everyone, took car to manufacture, believe it or not, reason for not getting inspection [blown fuse, what's a trip is i went to 4 inspection places, they never thought to say a blown fuse or to just check, they all said go drive 50 miles,stop and drive another 50. thanks, in case this helps someone else whereas the diagnostic reading says not ready.

buy the chip or buy a computer programmer and clear your codes right before you get to the inspection lanes

it sounds like you got your car inspected with the check engine light on. you should have a mechanic put your car on a diagnostic computor and clear the codes and reinspect it after a 16 mile drive to make sure the light stays out

Pumkins, Your experience with the inspection is true. If you disconnect or change your battery the same thing happens. All car and truck owners are disturbed by this inconvenience.

I personally think car manufactures has better get their collective sh*t together fast to correct this wide spread problem.
