It's kind of hard to name the funniest movie ever because different people like different kinds of humor.
For me, the only movie that I ever watched that was consistently funny and had me laughing the entire length was Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for make benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakstan.

At the time I saw it, I thoght "Up in Arms" with Danny Kaye, was the funniest movie of all time, and I laughed til it hurt.
But then when Jerry Lewis came along, he produced a similar reaction, and I dont remember what his first picture
was (with Dean Martin, of course). I think Hal Wallis made that first picture.

I think the funniest movies are Planes Trains and Automobiles and Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Love the part in Planes Trains and Automobiles when they drive the wrong way. Every part in Monty Python is funny.

For me, there are two. Young Frankenstein may be the most quotable movie I've ever seen, with tons of consistent laughs. Monty Python and the Holy Grail comes in tied, just because it makes me laugh harder than any other movie I've seen.

Any movie with Adam Sandler. He's hilarious. Also Friday and Friday After the Next. Chris Tucker and Mike Epps are hilarious.
