I've looked. UCSD doesn't have a major in Culinary Arts. Nothing related at all. She's better off at another school. I'm not sure any of the UCs would have a Culinary Arts major.

They have a culinary arts major? Interesting...

I believe that the "colleges" at UCSD mainly have to do with the general ed requirements. Some have a very strict schedule of courses that must be taken, others allow a lot of freedom in picking courses.

Your sister should look at the requirements of all the colleges, and pick which one sounds right for her. I don't think it has anything to do with major.

If your sister wants the best Culinary education she can get...skip UCSD and check out the Culinary Institute of America. Amazing experience and well worth the pricetag. www.ciachef.edu
