on account that thunder is the sound wave brought about via lightning you could hear the thunder 20 or 30 miles from the typhoon centre. as a result you won't quite see the flash. electric powered storms happen for all time interior the better ecosystem whilst negatively charged debris connect with quite charged debris inflicting the charge to "bounce". as a result, if the typhoon is extreme up you will no longer unavoidably get rain. "Thunder purely occurs whilst that is Raining", incidently, became written via Mick Fleetwood and John McVey earlier The Corrs have been even born!!! Stevie Nix and Christine suited, later Chrissie McVey, did a ultimate activity on the vocal music.

No, thunder happens when there is lightning, it dose not need to be raining for this to happen. The heat from the lightening, causes the air to expand faster than the speed of sound. The thunder claps that are heard is the gas breaking the sound barrier, it is called a `sonic boom`.

No it doesn't thunder when its only raining. Thunder happens when the weather is all hot and humid. You can tell when a storm is coming also by how the clouds look. The clouds are always look all puffy and weird. They are also a dark bluish color.

Oh no dear, we get lots of storms with thunder that can knock your shoes off....but no rain. I've wondered about that myself. Maybe somebody has a good scientific reason.
