1. The first question obviously needs to be answered by someone who has a model of a joint. If it looks like a hinge, you could say elbow joint, or knee. If it is freely moving in all directions, you could say a shoulder joint.

2. A hinge joint allows for greater strength, since ligaments and tendons can be more rigid and fixed. An example is your elbow. The muscles have only one movement, so they develop into very strong joints.

3. The disadvantage is the restriction of movement. They only move in one direction. They have sacrificed movement for strength. As opposed to your shoulder joint, which has greater movement, but less strength.

i don't know what your model is, you could use a door hinge as an example. it'd disadvantageous b/c it only bends in one direction, back and forth our up and down. it would be an advantage b/c you can bend it further than some joints

a different joint, like a ball and socket in the shoulder is an advantage b/c it can move in a circular motion

i i think hinge joints just move back and forth like your knee and ball joints rotate 360 degrees like your shoulder
