We've realized that we've moved a bit fast and neither of us are ready to get married yet, now we are trying to slow it down and it's hard on me, any suggestions on how to get through it?

Firts of all this is njormal for some that is the way it was for me and my wife. Engaged after only six months and married
nine months later. Anyways if you are in love and inseperable with each other there is nothing wrong with that
if you want to slow it done then just do it. I would suggest hanging out with some friends and that will allow you to not be making out all the time. I think what you are going through is the lack of the affection in the relationship maybe consider doing other stuff together that doesn't involve sex or intimacy
like swimming, going dancing, checking out local museums or something that is just fun. If this is hard on you I'm happy
to hear you say not ready for marriage because marriage is full of ups and downs that is marriage. I think maybe spending some time apart with friends may help things to
it sounds like you both want a cool down period this may work explain to your BF that this doe's not mean you are splitting up it just means your taking some time to slow down the relationship.

Your both happy and everything and I can tell just by reading this that you love this guy alot. Well it's time to make some compromises for yourself and the relationship!

May God Bless You and Good Luck.

Once you start something, it's impossible to stop it.

My wife and I married from being roomies. And in a month of moving in, we were both putting the moves on one another.

And then things snow-balled from there--skipping the dating process *completely*.

We married 11 months after we met.

Haven't regretted it since.

If it is going great, why slow it down? My husband and I got engaged after two weeks, and married after two months. If it's right, it's right! We have been happily married for ten years.

Who says you have to get married? You can be completely in love and commited to each other without being married!
