No, they have the telephone for that and food processors to show how progressive they are. As far as enlightened, ever-ready batteries!
Voters regardless of race, religion or orientation just aren't blind enough to vote for someone because of superficial appearances.

Would conservatives vote a failed businessman who is horrible at public speaking, but does have powerful political connections and vows to ban gay marriage and promotes corporate interests to run the country?

No I would vote for here only if I believed she was the best candidate amongst those running. For no other reason. I don't give a whit about race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender in these matters.

heavily, if there have been a gay/black/lady and she were the perfect candidate, she could get my vote. heavily, If God were operating as a Democrat, you may vote for John McCain.

No: it would depend upon the candidate's qualifications. She would have to at LEAST have a couple of years as Governor of Texas under her belt...
