I'd consider it if the price drops to $10,000. That's affordable to me, and the experience of being on another world - including time in zero gee and 1/6 gee - is worth that.

However, the trip is uncomfortable (not to mention hazardous), and there really isn't much to do on the moon once you're there. Most people would get a lot more enjoyment from a trip around the world. Your stories and memories from a round-the-world trip would be just as good, although not quite as unique.

journeys to the moon - There was once an airline referred to as PanAm. It truthfully properly-known reservations for moon journeys. It has tens of thousands of reservations yet provide up accepting new ones by using fact it had no thought the way it exchange into truthfully going to grant the provider. That airline went broke particularly a on an identical time as in the past so that is moot now. Like others reported, that is not any longer a fanancially reaslistic thought actual now. i'm particular the Russians could be keen, on condition that they are those offering vacationer journeys to the ISS. area elevator - it fairly is a huge thought, yet we've not got the technologies. There could no longer be any cloth sturdy sufficient to construct one from Earth.

I would pay about $100,000 for a trip for my husband. That sounds like I'm trying to get rid of him, but he has always dreamed of going into space. He doesn't want much, but he does want to do that. We grew up with the space race and Sputnik, Gemini and Apollo, blast-offs and recoveries, triumphs and tradedies.
