...and take all but one out, what do you have left, an odd or an end?

It would have to be both:

1) There's only one left; one is an odd number, therefore it's an odd.

2) It's the last one left, therefore it's an end.

Isn't it interesting that all the other items fit at least one of these categories too, though?

if it is one it is an odd cuz one is an odd number....just my twisted logic
