I usually go through ShoutCast to find Internet radio stations. I use WinAmp as my player and I also have the ability to search directly to ShoutCast and a few other sites (SingFish, AOL Music, etc...).

Try pandora.com You can tell it what music you like and it will suggest other music it thinks you will like. Cool, and free.
