It is beautyful..........about 70's but there is always chance to rain specially if you go early May.

First, it depends on which part of OR/WA you are wanting to know about. The states are kind of separated into three weather zones ... the coast, the interior valley, and the eastern high desert.
In May, the weather is more equal than most other times of the year, but there are still some differences.
Along the coast it will be rainy with some cloudy/sunny days, and temps in the low 60's with the occassional days near 70. Tends to be windy as well.
The interior valley area (essentially between the Coast Range and the Cascade Mountains) there will be less rain, more sunny days, with temps around 70's and the occassional 80.
East of the Cascades, a lot less rain, more variable temps.

I used to live in that area. The spring weather was beautiful with an average high around 75. It rains alot, but it is very light.
