YES Censorship Is Wrong period.... However playing Lewd Language and Explicit Themes over Public airways is Equally As Wrong!.
Why Can't Musicians tone it down on their own accord as opposed to pushing the envelope more and more until Laws and Regulations Do have to be Made?
Its Ok to Record Whatever they Wish... Just Don't Expect it to be made for PUBLIC consumption. If it Needs a Mature Label On it then So be it :-)

All censorship is wrong. It implies people are too stupid to make their own decisions. Those who are stupid enough to be swayed by Music into doing stupid things are evolution's loosers.
Let evolution do it's thang and let the rest of us enjoy highly imaginative music.
If you don't like it... Don't listen to it!

I love Ice T and his Bodycount project. I love Anthrax and the song Startin' up a posse.
I hate Tipper Gore and people who impose their belief systems on others.
Oh, I mean yes.

Yes, I think it's wrong. It's up to the consumer to decide what's not okay for them to listen to and take appropriate steps to avoid it, like not listening to radio stations that play what they deem inappropriate. The artists aren't responsible for what people choose to listen to and shouldn't have to alter their music for the sake of others.
