It's 6 years of blank checks for Republicans coming to bear. It's the Constitution (I wonder if anyone remembers that document?) working like it is supposed to.

See, way back when in the American Revolution, people didn't like Authoritarian governments imposing their will on the people powerless to do anything about it. With 3 branches of government until recently controlled by one political party, it was easy to get away with whatever they wanted. Now, as our founding fathers intended, there is a system of checks and balances and newly elected officials to force those in power to take accountability.

I love this country!

Congress regularly holds hearings with testimony, about a dozen standing committees during any given month.

We're just hearing about this now because Bush is trying to deny that Congress can dare to challenge his authority.

when the Dims are in power and the President is a Republican, this is how they think they're supposed to do their jobs, endless hearings and investigations
