I am liberal with some issues and convervative with other issues ,I wonder what i am called.

In the context of womens lib, it is liberation. In reference to political parties it is liberal. As far as what you would be categorized as- a centrist, moderate or maybe even an independent. You don't agree with the conservative or liberal talking points-you make up your own mind on each issue separately. Maybe more people should do that instead of swallowing whole the liberal or conservative viewpoint.

The Republican politicos are very effective at bastardizing the "left" (or Democrats) as "liberal" as if it were a dirty word or something. I'd suggest you look up it's history on Wikipedia... don't take anyone's word here for it, even mine. =)

"Lib" is to Democrats as "Neo-Con" is to Republicans... i.e.: fringe.
