PLEASE NO FLIPPANT, SMART A** ANSWERS, U CAN SAVE THOSE FOR SOME OTHER QUESTION, THANX!!! this is a legitimate question, i am interested to know what u think as i am a promoter/hostess for events of this type...for example, one theme nite was "pink party", where everyone, guys & gals, had to wear something pink...the more outrageous, the better!!! another theme nite we had was "out-of-this-world" & u had to dress up as an alien, space creature, astronaut, etc., basically, anything that fit the theme, but totally over-the-top!!! u know, these are the type of parties where there`s a dress code, but not a dress code, if u know what i mean (totally outrageous but no jeans, sneakers, that type of thing, where there`s a doorperson to say if u can enter or not based on the way u look)...so i was just wondering do u enjoy these??? have u been to any & what were they like???

I loved this place in Louisiana called Polly Esthers....one room was 70s disco, one was 80s rock/pop (my favorite room) and there was a 90s hip-hop/dance room. It totally rocked! The drinks were named after things or people famous for that decade (like the George Michael, which was a yummy concoction). Each room was decorated with the memorabilia for that time.

I love parties like that. We have a friend that does a different century theme every New Year's Eve. I can't wait to hear what is next.

they are fun! i have been to a few hawaiian themed things and im going to a bachlorette party this weekend that is mardi gras themed.

i went to this nightclub where it was panty nite, and this he/she was wearing a thong the whole time dancing on the stage. I didnt puke because i was drunk, i puked because "it" bend over twice! a little TO creative
