PLEASE NO FLIPPANT, SMART A** ANSWERS, U CAN SAVE THOSE FOR SOME OTHER QUESTION, THANX!!! this is a legitimate question, i am interested to know what u think as i am a promoter/hostess for events of this type...for example, one theme nite was "pink party", where everyone, guys & gals, had to wear something pink...the more outrageous, the better!!! another theme nite we had was "out-of-this-world" & u had to dress up as an alien, space creature, astronaut, etc., basically, anything that fit the theme, but totally over-the-top!!! u know, these are the type of parties where there`s a dress code, but not a dress code, if u know what i mean (totally outrageous but no jeans, sneakers, that type of thing, where there`s a doorperson to say if u can enter or not based on the way u look)...so i was just wondering do u enjoy these??? have u been to any & what were they like???

actually u would be surprised at how popular these type of events are, i promoted/hostessed many throughout brazil & also europe, & they were always a big success...now, even if i`m not working at one of these events, i almost always prefer to attend this type of thing over just a regular boring club nite, it`s a contest to see who can have the most outrageous visual effect, it`s fantastic!!!

Ive been to a few raves like that and it is fun because its different(that and anything is fun while drinking). Give the females a chance to dress really skimpy and charge more for the males. After that, watch the profits roll in. At least thats my theory on a club.

I'd rather go to a place without having to dress up in "costume" it's fine for Halloween, but through the year, I want to be fashionable, and any seasoned club goer won't go to a club that advertizes a "gimmick" night like that unless it's a "private" party they've been invited to.

sounds like fun and i am sorry but it's not my thing and you did ask, i prefer a good party with my true friends the way they are and who they are , if that kind of thing does it for you then so be it, but you asked, and i stumbled onto this question that i thought i should answer, because we are not all in the same head space , but thank you for asking, and have a good time, i hope it works for you.
