this is already done in most countries. maybe America would have respectful younger generations if they served and understood what being free is all about

I wonder why they dont have the draft. Are they afraid of the Bush twins going off to fight for us? It seems absolutely ludicrous to have a "volunteer" army who not only lose their lives but their families, jobs, homes etc. and end up coming back with PTSD we have never seen before.
First we should start with Murtha's family. I'm sure they'd be glad to back him.

Well, Murtha also wants to yank us out of Iraq, so where are "everybody" going to serve? Draftees frequently make poor soldiers, we would be better off with a larger, better paid, professional army.

Yep start a draft that is why liberals want so that when we do draft they have more ammo against fighting Muslim terrorist.

Murtha needs to put his uniform back on get up front and see what the Marines are dealing with rather than rule from 6000 miles away.

I suggest to quit worrying about fighting. I don't know about Murtha, but I bet hes a old screwball that really doesn't care about no one but himself. Draft everyone, make them believe in one religion and make sure there loyal bushies.
