Hasn't Simon said that American Idol is more than just the ability to sing - that you need to project the pop star image? If that's true, I think this little dude has it! And he really can sing too! What do you think?

The only interesting about that show this year is Sanjaya! I also think his singing is fantastic and getting better every week..This week I can't wait to see what He does..like Simon said..Its the full package and I know Sanjaya has it!

In my opinion, Sanjaya will not win, but will make it far. His horrendous singing ability has brought horror after horror to American Idol fans. At this point, some people tune in every Tuesday just to see what he does with his hair and how badly he sings. The same people watch Wednesday to see if he gets kicked off. This entire Sanjaya business is raising Fox's ratings, which means $$$ for AI.
I love Simon, but two phrases he uses frequently are "This is a singing competition," and "It's more than just the singing. It's the whole package." Bit contradictory, don't you think?

I want Sanjaya off! Okay I was a Chris Sligh fan and Sundance and what happens they get voted off because of Sanjaya! Who is voting for him!?! Okay people stop paying attention to the looks and hear him sing even though your ears might bleed. Something is fishy and I want to watch the people sing that deserves to win not Sanjaya!

Sanjaya should of been voted off along time ago. He has no singing ability at all he should know he's being made fun of.

He's awful and there's no way he should win. This is suppose to be a singing contest and he can't sing worth a darn nor does he have stage presence. He's a skinny little boy that's cute to teenyboppers and a big joke for Howard Stern and the vftw site to use to ruin AI. Once this kid gets a clue that they're using him how's he going to feel about that?

Sanjaya sucks. Im not watching AI untill hes kicked off, and if for some wacked out reason HE should win I hope the show gets canceled forever.

I think he's a nice kid with a sense of humor and very little singing ability when compared to the other contestants. He shouldn't be the new American Idol!

I think its very possible Sanjaya can actually win. He shouldn't win, but, he just might if he keeps on getting the most votes.
