You can get them anywhere now.. Check the local fish store, they have them on sale all the time. Check the newspaper, they are listed in there all the time.

You'll need a nice big tank, since money is no object, then the bigger the better. Don't forget to put in one of those scuba guys that move up and down with the airbubbles!

I wanted to add, you might want to check Dolphin Rescue.. Save a Life, consider a rescued Dolphin instead!

YOU CANT OWN A DOLPHIN, honestly some people are just dumb. And YES dolphins have attacked people. I saw a show on the DISCOVERY CHANNEl. It is very rare, but it does happen, i dont think anyone has ever died, but people are injured by them. There was this one lady who was swimming with one in seaworld, when all of the sudden it just freaked out and grabbed her arm and was yanking and dragging her all around the pool, Any wild animal can and will attack so you have to remember that when buying a wild animal as a pet, but still DOLPHINS ARNT PETS!!!!! go buy a goldfish or somethin

It is doubtful you will be able to purchase a dolphin. It is illegal to capture dolphins in the wild, and there are not many born in captivity. In fact many aquariums are short on dolphins.

It would also be inhumane to keep a dolphin by itself, and they really need to have someone with a degree in marine mammal biology monitoring their behviour and health.

Also, they need an incredibly large pool, with the exact right amount of salinity.

They eat a great deal and you must have a way of providing fresh fish.

I think you are better off volunteering at a rehabilitation centre for dolphins.

If your uncle is that rich and money is no problem..have him buy an island and you can sit on the beach and watch the dolphins play .....and you might even be able to interact with them there....every other option is out of the question..

Join the U.S Navy and try and get into their Dolphin training program. You'll work with dolphins till you know alot about them. Get stationed at San Diego , they have a program. Good luck. As for buying no way!

It's illegal to "own" a dolphin. All the money in the world from your "rich" uncle could never buy one for you.

Get a fishtank with fish instead of wishing for something a spoiled brat could never have.

You are complete DUMASS. I really hate people like YOU. By the way I have to correct the other dumasses that posted. There is NO records of dolphins attacking or killing people. It doesn't happen. Do your freaking research instead of stating things that would never happen in a million years!!!!!!

Dolphins are not for sale anywhere. They never will be, because the average person who is not a marine biologist could not properly take care of them. You can't just throw them in a chlorinated pool. I hope you're kidding.

Getting a dolphin might be a bad idea.

They require way too much care, and theres not many of them around. get a horse instead..=)

No one "owns" dolphins and money doesn't give you the knowledge necessary to keep an exotic pet..

Todays trend is not to cage or keep animals but to rehabilitate them to return to their own lives. Thats the humane thing to do.
