you felt... "ecstatically happy"?

I haven't felt that for a long time... I just want you to describe me things a bit, so I could remember...

I feel like that every morning I wake up and see my wife sleeping next to me. :-)

I think the day I got in my car and left California for a new life. I felt pretty ecstatic and had high hopes for the new and unknown.

Mad rush of fluttering wings just under my belly-button. Feeling a bit light-headed, as if gravity has suddenly taken a break. My skin flushes across my chest, the top of my cheekbones... my grin feels like freedom. The laugh... the laugh spirals up from somewhere deep inside... maybe my solar plexus, maybe all the way down to my toes. I could laugh forever. It is better than the richest *happy chocolate sugar brain* feeling, almost on par with orgasm. It's like diving in a pool of deep warm water and feeling like you are flying... probably is the closest thing to free in this world.

I think that is a feeling I have never had the pleasure to feel.
I have felt happy, very happy, silly happy, sexually happy, normally happy, and extremely happy but I never have been ecstatically happy.

Sometimes when I have a dessert that's super good I feel ecstatically happy. I try to have a good dessert at a nice restaurant on a weekly basis. It makes life worth living.

Definetly last summer when i went camping. I was so happy. Everything was serene, and cool, and clean. There were not alot of people around, i had no worries, or cares, and nothing from my outside life trying to get in, just pure bliss. If your into it, camping can do wonders for your nerves. I GOTTA plan another trip.

Will Rogers, known as the the sage of Oklahoma, once observed he'd found that, "Most people are as happy as they let themselves be". So if you WANT to be miserable you will be. Happines, or the lack thereof, is mostly an attitude. Laugh and the world laughs with you. Weep and you weep alone.

Just a couple of days ago...the day was sunny and in the upper 70s (rare this time of year in Chicago!) and I was able to pull out my shorts to wear!! I was so happy after having cabin fever all winter...I can't describe the mood I was in!!

When my daughter was born 3 months ago--the little person inside of me for almost 10 months I finally got to meet and see for the first time. I was just in awe and stared at her for hours--it was SO amazing. I could not believe I was finally a mommy!! I still am in awe. :)
